She was disqualified for an alleged doping violation. I am anticipating an official statement from the event prior to announcing any details.

I apologize for the brevity of my previous post. She was disqualified from the event after another finisher protested her participation based on a newspaper article that indicated that she had failed an out-of-competition drug test.

There was an article on Desiree in Inside Texas Running, sadly this appears to be true. She alledgedly tested positive for Andro, in one form or another. She's done for 2 years.
