Does anyone know what happened to the Tall Pines Marathons website? It has been down for several weeks now.

Message: Rick Lewis sent out the following e-mail back in January...(see below)...to date no updates though.

On a brighter note, I plan to guide Tall Pines Marathons to a
much more zen mode of operation. This means less frills like
T-shirts and pre-race meals - more focus on keeping costs to you
down and the quality of the experience as high as you expect of
us. We aim to keep entry fees in the $10-15 range with no change
in services to runners.
We are negotiating with Wells Branch for the Summer Series 2002.
I do not expect any problems in having our events in June, July
and August. As I mentioned last year, the September "Doublebelt"
race will not be repeated on the Barton Springs Greenbelt. The
calendar page on the website is updated accordingly, but...
Please note we are in the process of hosting our web sites on our
own equipment. This transition began last year but a series of
events caused the switchover to be delayed; Mindy and I have new
email as follows:
Rick [email protected]
Mindy [email protected]
The website (including the MAMA site) will stop functioning at the
end of this month (January) - sorry for the last minute notice! If
you post runs to the clubs database please make a manual notation in
case we lose the databases, OK? (You know how computers are....)
The equipment (for the techies) consists of several Sun boxes running
Solaris, connected via Roadrunner for now). I've completely dumped
Wintel in favor of Sun! :)
I've set up a redirect website which will solve our DNS issues for
the moment:
http://home.austin.rr.com/tpmhosts/
so please bookmark that. I have yet to determine if the domain
name "tpmarathons.org" will continue as is, change names, or not
be supported. As the month has slipped by, I wanted to at least
let you know of our new addresses and this temporary site (which
as of this writing is not functional except for a splash page).
