 Subject: Little Rock Firecracker 5k

I'll be in Little Rock for business over the 4th of July. I am probably going to do the Firecracker 5k. I know Little Rock is not that big, but i would still like to stay in a hotel close to the start. Any recommendations??

as of a couple years ago, the start was at a running store (i think called sports stop) in the heights. i always stayed at a budget type hotel at the corner of 430 & rodney parham. you can jump on 430 north easily, go up to hwy 10/cantrell (2-3 miles), then east to the store (another mile or two). it's on the left.

my apologies ... hwy is 440, not 430. it's on the WEST side of town. all other info is correct (like i said, as of a couple of years ago).
