All state championships are worth 100 points. The regional championship is worth 105 points. For each elite that finishes the race 1 point is added to the 90, with 100 being max. It does not matter how many elites are at the state & regionals. Their point value does not increase. Your points are based off how far you finish behind the male or female winner. You age group place does not matter. You also must have a current USAT membership card. A one day pass will not get you ranked. This is how the rankings worked last year & previous years. Just yesterday I was priviledged to see the mid-season rankings that were given to RTN to be published very soon. From what I saw these rankings were totally screwed up & not calculated like the previous years. Maybe the way the races are ranked has changed this year. The biggest mistake was The Strutters Duathlon, short & long courses, where listed under the triathlons.
