Did anyone see a bike crash between miles 19 and 20 at Shreveport/Tinman? It would have happened around 9:30 am. I'm trying to determine how it happened.

I did see a guy over to the right side of the road during the race...don't remember what mile mark it was. He was sitting off of the road on the grass - holding his shoulder. Right before I saw him, there was a pretty big dip/bump in the road. If you didn't have your hands on your bars good I think it could have knocked them out of your hands - pretty jarring. I remember thinking "I bet that is what happened to him". Hope this helps.

thanks for the response. i'm the guy you saw...broke my collarbone. vaguely remember a bump...do remember suddenly being out of control and flipping over the curb. md
