I also live in Frisco. I swim at the commumity college. They open @ 6am. During the summer we share the pool in the mornings with the FAST group. All of the swimmers are glad to share a lane. The guest fee is $2 or $30/trimester.
I have not done the rockwall race before, but Jack runs a good event. That should be a good one to start with.
Also the Dennison Dash is in Sept, I think.
