 Subject: Buffalo Springs Half

I "completed" my first Half ironman sunday at Buffalo Springs. I had the dubious honor to be the last to cross the finnish line in 9:11:26. My thanks and sincere appreciation to all connected with the event. There were people still manning the aid stations to the end. Every one within earshot of a radio knew that # 638 was still on the course and was NOT stopping. The moral support from volunteers and other athletes who had finished before was incredible. Again, my thanks to all this is a first class event.

Dude...good for you!!! I was there...that course just took it out of me last year, so I went back for revenge this year, and had a fun time. You are awesome for sticking with it! I was pretty whipped, and didn't stay too long after I finished...sorry I missed your finish! Are you coming back next year? Hope you do!
