Below is information from the BARC "Bay Area Running Club" bulletin board. Hope you can make it. It will be fun!!! Hey kids, albeit late, the much anticipated BARCer Pub Krawl is taking shape. I coordinated with all the watering holes between Carlos' Beer Garden and the Seabrook Beach Club and got great response from everybody. (Man, this RD stuff is hard.) This is a no fee, no aid, no awards, no shirt, no wimps, no whiners event--commonly referred to as a "fat a##"fun run. The missions are (1) to have fun and (2) to offer a social event to BARCers and non-BARCers in the Bay Area, hopefully encouraging more of the latter to join. Other than input (and of course, participation), I don't forsee that I'll need anything. As for inputs, anybody wanna suggest a name? I came up w/PUb Krawl-Eat-Run (PUKE); or maybe just just "The BARC Pub Krawl." 11:00a.m. till ?, Sat., 1 SEP. Some will have to meet earlier to split some cars between The Seabrook Beach Club and Carlos'. Carlos's beer garden is just south of NASA Rd 1 on HWY 3. P 1
