 Subject: Stampede...water quality

Stampede was my first triathlon in 2 years and I've done about twenty in the last twenty years of which only 5 have been open water swims.
How does the water quality compare to other triathlons? My personal opinion was DUCK POOP SOUP and that if Memorial Herman was sponsoring the race maybe they should've been handing out Zithromax at the finish line.
Other than the water I thought Stampede was a good race...my brother and I got 3rd in the male team category...my bro did okay on the bike I was just still way too fat and out of shape...can't wait to get first next year as a team or pick up an age group top three placing individually.

Did you get a load of those duckies at the start? That was really funny! They was trying to beat the guys! duckpoopsoup - I think I will use that as my new website name instead of skankindoody. But, hey - which is worse - Mud Lake (aka Clear Lake) or that little duckpoopsoup?
