Message: In addition to the wonderful RTN staff, I noticed a professional photographer snapping shots of the recent 25K. Anyone know who that was. I thought it was Brightroom, but no showing of the race on their website.
Thanks in advance.

Message: I don't know, but I wish it was Brightroom. Their photos are awesome! And they get the photos up quick, too. Hopefully they'll be at the 30K.

Message: I observed two photgraphers (a male and a female) near the turn-a-round closest to downtown. The male thought he was cute by saying something like, "I cant believe you women are not lifting up your shirts for me." I felt like stomping him into a mudhole. Talk about disrepectful. Maybe I should go to his mother's house and aske her the same thing.
Tacky at the very least.

Message: I've talked to some of the brightroom people after some races -- they were very helpful and professional each time. Certainly no dirty jokes.

Message: Charlie...
Please accept my personal apology for a partial joking comment you overheard me make in reply to a comment made to me by a passing female participant of the race. It was only meant as a humorous comment in reply to a humorous one made by her. Let this be no reflection on either Karen Thibodeaux Sports Photography or Brightroom Photography since I freelance for both companies at times. These were the comments of an individual and not a company. This was not a serious comment nor was it my intention to offend anyone passing by that might have overheard the communication partially or in full. Once again I personally apologize.

Message: I am a professional photographer who takes great pride in the photos taken at every event. I have had hundreds of letters stating that my photos are "great". So, if you have received a photograph that was not great, then why write "picture unhappy' on this website? You should be notifying me. I guarantee every photo that is taken by me or my freelance photographers. Brightroom generally takes up to 6 days to post their photos on their website. I had photos up on my site the next day. However, since I am only one person doing the job of 10, I have managed to get all my photos (over 3,500) up on my site in 7 days. In addition, I have mailed out proofs to everyone in 7 days. If you want to only see one photo of you- go to the MarathonFoto website. They don't even let you see anyone but your own photo! Brightroom does an excellent job with their website. If I could afford one, I would have one also. However, most of my sales always come from the customer seeing the proof - I received about 3 orders a month from my "website".
And to Charlie- my apologies if you heard something that was obviously not intended for you. It's the saying "you had to be there" to understand the context of the statement. You apparently didn't hear the whole conversation. Frank is a very professional photographer. We have to joke with our customers at times - especially when they joke with us. And if it offended the young lady, she can let me know - or Frank and we will apologize to her.
Now - Lance, you know I had to make a comment - I apologize for the "advertising" but at least I included our friends!

Message: I,too, find Karen Thibadeaux's photos to be super. I have run in this town for over 30 years and have been running races for 25 years. I have seen lots of photographers come and go, and Karen's quality and knowledge of photographing runners is the best I have seen. I have tons of her pictures and encourage those who want quality pix of themselves to purchase hers.
