I suck, and my rankings show that. Well, as far as tri goes, I did okay in Du's. My interest was not for me but for others. I knew before hand that I would be towards the bottom of the tri rankings, and adding the races actually knocked me down one spot is Du's. Next year is supposed to be better for the rankings, we'll see.

Thanks for reading....

Does anyone know how deep the awards will go in each age group? I could go to the magazine but if it's a percentage , a lot of people were added with the additional races. Also what, if anything, will be done to correct the revisions? There will probably be another person like me who was put in the wrong age group as they aged up during the year. I should be in the 65-69 age group instead of the 60-64 and yes Ed has been advised.
By the way, Chris, I started working on the races in the New Orleans-Baton Rouge area as soon as I didn't see them in the September prelims. One sent results right away, one later under duress and the third, a three race series, after several e-mails and finally a couple of calls. They all had sent results to USAT and thought that those results were being shared with the regionals. I think Brad Davison will bring this up with national when he gets there.

Glad to hear that you too went after the race directors who initially failed to submit results to the regional office! I hope that if we continue to make that impact, that one day soon it will no longer be necessary. See you at the races...........

If the local USAT board would like to contact me, I'd be interested in timing, scoring, producing points totals, and reporting back these scores for any/all series races. I'd at least like to discuss possibilities and requirements, and possibly eliminate much of the hassle and frustration from the athletes and administrators. Thanks.

Bob--

I received updated rankings for the 60-64 and 65-69 age groups this morning. These rankings, which place you in your proper age group, have been posted.

Congratulations on your season.

Look at Philip Johnson's detailed rankings in the Tri. You'll se him listed as doing certain events twice. There are Two philip Johnson's, one is in the 20 - 24 AG, and the better one is in the 40 - 44 AG. I have no Idea how many other similar mistakes are in the rankings. But, the rankings are still incorrect.

I'm not sure I'm better than my junior counterpart, but I guess I did go a little faster than him. I was wondering how I got two times for several races???

I'm sure the rankings will forever have some glitches and will not perfectly reflect who's "best." It makes for an interesting game and some competitiveness, but I think it should all be taken with a grain of salt. Life's good, triathon's good, and I'm sure the younger PJ is good.
