Subject: new duathlete,need advice IP: Logged
Message: have recently run a marathon. wanting to start cycling to add to the mix. what do i need to do to become fit with cycling (have never seriously trained on a bicycle)? cannot find any books, websites, etc. on duathlete training, only triathlete books. would appeciate any suggestions.

Most running clubs and triathlon clubs will have people who can support your entry into duathlon. A good source of club contact information for running is www.rrca.org and, of course, www.runntertriathletenews.com. www.usatriathlon.org has good information on triathlon clubs.

Message: have you run a search on the web "duathlon training"? I found a few training programs last summer when I was browsing.
