Subject: Snowflake Duathlon IP: Logged
Message: Can someone explain to me what these Snowflake Duathlons are, why I only see any references to them AFTER they have been run, and why they appear to have, on average, about 30 participants (from the posted results)? I'm interested in any races that are a reasonable distance from DFW, and just wondering why this event appears to be so secretive.

Message: Secretive? They've been listed in every issue of RTN since November! How much notice do you need?!

Message: I missed them last year myself. I found out about them AFTER they happened. I marked them on the calendar, and participated in them this year. They are a fun, VERY LOW KEY race. There are no medals. There is no after race food. There is no T-shirts. And there are NO RESTROOMS. But it only cost $15 and they are fun. Well, the last one was NOT fun. It was cold, windy, and raining.
