 Subject: Cinco Ranch Tri...A Day to Remember

Great triathlon overall.
I want to especially thank one of the competitors in the male 30-34 age group. Near the end of the swim leg, I tried to breath water and got into some real difficulty. I motioned to one of many boats on the water and they responded, however, a racer responded quicker and stopped swimming and offered assistance. Thank you whoever you are. I'm sure you lost some time with this effort.
In my mind I thought that if I touched that boat then my race was done. The kind word of assistance from a fellow racer spurred me on to recover and finish the swim and entire race.
This demonstrates that triathlons are really a TEAM sport with everyone helping each other to complete the race.
Thank you to everyone for making this day one to remember.
