Subject: Leg Pain IP: Logged
Message: I just started back to running a couple of months ago. I am taking things slow only running 2-3 times per week and only 2-3 miles per run. The last few times after my run and the day after my run I am getting pain in the front of my legs. I immediately thought shin splints, but it does not hurt when I walk or run. It actually feels better the more I move. It hurts when I am still for long periods of time. It just keeps tightening up. Almost like a cramp.

Message: Try using a tennis ball and rubbing it over your shins and icing. May help with the pain

Message: No tennis ball, use that on your shoulders or back or feet.
Use RICE rest ice compression elevation. YOu probably just did to much to soon.
You just need to do some shin splint stretches, ice, ibuprofen, or whatever pain reliver you use, and take it slow.
YOu might even take a look at your shoes, are they new, are they the proper fit?
good Luck
