Message: I used to do Triathlons. When I started, I dropped the $$$ and got myself a good bike. I have a former swimmer who is 16 that would like to get into Triathlons. She still swims and runs long distances on her track team. She needs a bike. I would like your opinions on a bike for her. I dont feel she needs to spend a lot of money on her first bike incase she doesnt like Triathlons. Who makes a good inexpensive road bike? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Message: Kansas, I have 2 daughters who wanted to try Triathlons, I went to Toys R us and bought a Rhino Aluminum Candy Apple Red Bike 700 x 23 tire size. I put a 69.00 Aero Bar on it and Wallahhhhh, a very inexpensive Tri-Bike. Paid 189.00 for the Bike. I do not know if they still sell them.
Have fun!
