Subject: Cinco Ranch Tri Dallas Cyclist could learn some ma IP: Logged
Message: My hat is off for the second year in a row for the great job Dave Rainey and his crew did at Cinco last Sunday.
In Dallas , the Cinco gets a bad rap over the quality of the water on the swim. but I certainley have swam in worse water.
My brother and I have done 8 major sprint tri's this year and Guy has been doing Cinco for a number of years, thanks go to my brother for letting me in on the fun last year in Katy.
My observation is that Houston area cyclist should come to Dallas and give our cyclist a lesson in biking curtisey.
Not one time in the last 2 years Have I been passed on the bike course that the cyclist didn't loudly say "on the left", this is a rare occurance in Dallas.
Thanks again Dave for a great experiance. Guy and I will be back next year.

Message: Although I haven't done the race in a couple of years, Cinco Ranch has always been a well run event. No event is perfect and as they draw more participants, the probablility of problems increases. Dave and his crew have the experience and foresight to look for potential problems and deal with them before before they occur. Keep up the good work.
