Message: I would like to do triathlons and need to do LOTS of swim training. I'm looking for a wetsuit for use in both training and competition. Please advise which on the best suit to use and where to get it?

Message: You can drop $300, $400 or more on a name brand full wetsuit. I went to www.wetsuit.com and bought a sleeveless brand called pro motion and it has worked great and it was less that $200 including shipping. Been very pleased with it. I'm sure there are other sites for suits.

Message: I thought I would throw in something I learned the hard way. If you are planning on using your wetsuit in a pool, make sure you rinse it with lots of water to get the pool water out after your training session. Also, flip turns can be hard on the wetsuit especially in the back/hip area because of the stretching and bending. Mine started to tear so keep an eye on things.

Message: Thanks for your replies! I checked out the wetsuit.com website and have decided to try the sleeveless, short-leg Freesprint suit. Take care and Merry Christmas...

Message: You may want to reconsider the short leg option and go with the one with long legs. If the water is cold enough that a wetsuit is needed you will want the extra protection. Also the long leg wetsuit will help keep your legs more buoyant and pararell with your body which will result in faster swim times
