Subject: Shirt Question continued IP: Logged
Message: Some Clear Lake runs have the audacity to give out sleeveless t-shirts. YOu should at least give out sunscreen if you are going to give those out. Everytime I wear mine I get sunburn on my shoulder area.

Message: Best suggestion yet was to offer a no t-shirt option with a discount of a couple of bucks off the entry fee.
Does anyone reading this thread really need another t-shirt?

Message: For the last few years Maribella's race has given out the sleeveless t-shirts. The feedback from the runners was an overwhelming support for them. If you don’t like the shirt you could give it to the homeless, they are down and out and would rather have shirts on their back than none.

Message: Shouldn't you at least put sleeves on the shirts? I think the homeless would agree..

Message: I must say that I have done the Maribelles 5K on the bay for the last two years and enjoyed the sleevless shirts they offer. Also the last Combat tri shirt was a tank and it is also different from the plain ole white-t (which I have too many of) Don't want to jump on anyone but a little bicep work in the gym might change your mind about the sleevless!

Message: I'm also a texas triathelete, however I believe there are a bunch of snobs and chronic complainers in this sport. Nothing is perfect, just accept and move on. Organizers really have you in their best interest. They do the best with what they have. Trust them please.

Message: sergio: you are the most sensible person i have seen on this message board. if more people had your good sense, there would be less complaining on this board about every little nit-picking thing that they can not change anyway. the complainers need to get a life and shut up.
