I havent really been following this message thread too closely but I think I understand somebody wants to race this TGARR. If this TGARR is really Terry Garrett then if you do a google search and look at some of his 5k times then you guys are in deep s#$t. I think he is pretty fast.
So if I were to challenge this guy I would say ok lets swim a mile and then run a mile and I bet I would win that bet. But that's just me and I am not in on this challenge.

Hey road runner, in the spirit of full disclosure: Steve on another thread said that I had no right to open my mouth on things if I didn't get out and race. I asked him if that meant I had to race him. Steve realizing that he let his mouth overload his butt, then challanged me to weight lifting to which I said ok, Steve then changed the challange again. Several of Steves friends have tried to play the game and couldn't pull it off either. At this point time has expired and people like observer who seem to have no larger goals than beating an old guy like me seem to be coming out of the wood work to collect the bounty Steve put on my head. Of course, if Steve isn't any better at paying than he is at backing his own talk up then I suspect they will never see said money. The times you found on google are I'm sure pretty old as I'm not close to the runner I was a few years ago, whatever that was. While this is all good fun, I can't see the need to threaten my life over it. That is what you would be doing by getting me anywhere near the water for any distance longer than the length of a small pool.

I got all your drifts, just asking questions for the sake of clarity. I was just interested in the quick $100. No need to get personal.
you did run a couple of good times on the track last year, so I am not fooled by the poor old guy act.
That's cool that you whipped Steve, he needed to be put in his place.

Sorry, guess I viewed the ADD comment as personal on your part. Steve would be the person to ask about the hundred. While I am happy with my times they are not what they once were, no poor old me, just old me.
