TNT Gulf Coast Chapter gears up for another successful season
August 1, 2002
Team In Training is the largest endurance training program in
the United States. They provide numerous runners and walkers
with the coaching, training and even the travel opportunities to
make their athletic goals a reality. It's an unbeatable offer
with great personal rewards. What's the deal? In exchange for
the training and support, TNT participants raise money towards a
cure for leukemia - the number one disease-killer of children
under 15, and lymphoma, the leading killer of men and women
under 35. Whether you are a casual walker, a seasoned runner, an
experienced cyclist or even a novice, their training program
will guide you every step of the way to the finish line of a
fabulous marathon or half marathon. Your honored Patient Hero will be your inspiration and added
source of motivation. Each team member meets and trains on
behalf of a patient in our community who faces a far greater
challenge: surviving a blood-related cancer. You will be their symbol of hope for a cancer-free tomorrow by
your fundraising efforts to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society's lifesaving programs in research, education and patient
aid. Airfare, hotel and race entry costs are just some of the
expenses that the organization will will cover for anyone who
reaches his or her fundraising goal. Walk or run the Disney
Marathon and Half, Houston Marathon and Half, or the Mardi Gras
Marathon and Half. For more information on the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program, contact (713) 680-
