Lindley wins Swiss ITU points race

Siri Lindley, ranked No. 1 in the world, added to her ITU
ranking points total and increased her winning streak to four
Sunday by taking the Geneva ITU International Triathlon in
Switzerland.Lindley (Boulder, Colo.), the only American in the race,
completed the Olympic distance (1.5k swim, 40k bike, 10k run)
course in 2 hours, 18 minutes, 7 seconds. Lindley completed the swim in a group headed by Brazil's Carla
Moreno and including New Zealand's Evelyn Willamson and
Switzerland's Simone Burli. While Lindley was up and away on the
bike, steadily increasing her lead on Williamson, Scotland's
Catriona Morrison, moved to third place on the fourth bike lap.
The places stayed the same on the run. Australian Craig Walton won the men's race in 2:03:27. At Sunday's ITU international points race in Veracruz, Mexico,
Alison Hayden (Tampa, Fla.) placed fifth in the women's race and
Brian Lavelle (San Jose, Calif.) finished 11th in the men's
race. Canada's Lauren Groves won the women's race in 2:11:50 and
Mexico's Eligio Cervantes won the men's race in 1:56:00. For more information and complete results from both races, go to
