USAT/SMW president Brad Davison is running for a spot on the USAT National board. What follows is his platform:

Serving as a Assistant Race Director, Race Director, and Assistant Technical Director of the following races (Capital Of Texas Triathlon, USTS Series, Xterra off Road Triathlon, US Olympic Trials), and competing as an Age Group athlete or serving as a USAT Official at races has given me the vision to strive for the development of a computer based program to streamline the time it takes for results to be posted at races.

The growth of our sports lies with the education of children in the multisport concept. Being the Co-Chair of the Age Group Commission, serving as Kids Triathlon Race Director and a board member of the SMW Regional Board, I have supported and implemented a program to develop youths in our region. I will be commitment to developing and implementing a Triathlon curriculum nationally in our schools.

Overseeing the South Midwest Region as President and serving on Age Group Commission, I have learned that the achievement of our athletes needs to be celebrated and the end of the year. I will be commitment to establishing a National Awards Banquet for end of the year rankings.

I will continue to support and develop programs that enhance the opportunities for women to participate in our sport.

My goal if elected is to serve all levels of athletes from the Central Division fairly. honestly, and accurately. I will be commitment to listening to your concerns and bringing those concerns in front of the National Board.
