Triathletes invited to Grand Pacifico Tri in Mazatlan

Triathletes from around the world are invited to participate in
the Grand Pacifico Triathlon on Saturday, June 7, in Mazatlan,
Mexico. The race, to be staged in the hometown of Pacifico
Beer, will feature more than $50,000 in prize money.
The event includes both Olympic and Sprint-distance races
beginning at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 7. Interested
participants can log on to the official race website www.maraton.org (note Spanish spelling) to
learn more about the event, enroll online or to download entry
forms. Participants can also register at www.active.com.
"We are extremely excited to invite participants from throughout
the U.S. and Mexico to enjoy this challenging, yet fun event,
and to see the beauty and splendor of Mazatlan, Pacifico's
home," said Bill Ligas of Barton Beers, Ltd., which imports
Pacifico Beer into the western U.S.
Pacifico, Corona, Corona Light, Modelo Especial and Negra Modelo
beers are brewed and bottled by the Grupo Modelo Brewery in
Mexico, and are imported into the western U.S. by Barton Beers,
Ltd. Barton is a Constellation Company.
