Message: I know who "tgarr" is and I will not mention his name. He is and has always been known as a loser, as someone who disrespects and contradicts the rationale behind his own reasoning.
The best part about it is, that "tgarr" has never won anything or directed any race or event. He is a classic aged mid-packer complaining about how he can never win a race because he lacks the dedication and sacrifice most of the runners out there display.
tgarr, we've been at many races together, now don't let your name get out and be blackballed from all the events.
otherwise, learn more about the sport you disrespect and if you disrespect it so much please do us a favor and don't even attend the races.

Message: I don't disrespect it just liars like you and s-man. If you know who I am out me, and then lets compare results. According to you one must have finished in the front of the pack to have an opinon so lets all come out of the closet so to speak and comapre who has been closer to the front of the pack. That is a poor way to decide who can express an opinon but I'll play on your court. Til then you and s-man are just bringing up the rear.

Message: And that addresses which of the arguments I made for why races should be able to give decent awards?????
And remember we are supposed to compare times according to you guys, and yours are????
Lest we forget you are the one that said "my foot your ass" yep, that doesn't sound too uptight.

Message: Sorry s-man, I actually agree, to gripe about an award is silly. I think the race directors around here do a fine job and you are right to put on a race is harder then it seems. I am sure you are a good runner too, good luck to you at the races. This has been an examination of how quickly argument digresses into name calling. Take care and have a good season!

Message: Well glad to see I started a fist fight on the forum. Well I'm sorry that I even noticed what kind of award I got. I guess according to the race directors I shouldn't have noticed or cared. (It's the thought that counts right?) Maybe I should just come clean and ask the race director, "were you runnin low on the dough? or were you just being cheap? The fact is some races will have nice awards and some won't. But if you still think I have sinned a great sin by metioning it, I will let you know that you can get blue ribbons for 5cents each in bulk. Then you can put the extra $ anywhere you like. Happy trails!

Message: Call the race director and talk to him or her about what you consider to be a cheap award. If the race is Try Andy's Tri, the plaques cost $10 each in bulk and the race spent a total of $800 on awards. My phone number is 281-242-7700. I dislike cheap awards also, but do not consider a 4 by 6 plaque cheap.
