Message: I am extremely impressed with the 2003 USAT SMW board and the great job they've done with the rankings.
Last year they were having all kinds of problems with communications and rankings, all solved as far as I am concerned.
THANK YOU

Message: Sebastion, I agree that the rankings were much improved. Since you brought them up,by your own admission you missed the whole out and back section at Brazos, therefore cutting the course by 4-5 miles. Yet you were mistakenly given the win and therefore the points.
Your ranking is erroneous and you points should instead be 88.8, not 90.
I raced the elite division at Brazos, and never saw you at any point during the race, not at any turn arounds, until the finish line when by some miracle you were now in front of me.
All season long you have been wrongly listed as the amatuer winner and I have waited for you to correct this. I know that some turns on the bike were questionable, I drove the course the previous day to ensure that I knew the way, and the rules show that it is the athletes responsibility, even if led off the course. This is not a personal issue, I think well of you, but think that fair is fair and the rules apply to us all. I know full well that when I race the elite class, that I am not eligible for points and raced it there for the money, which took months for us to recieve(a different issue entirely), so your finish there has no personal impact on me. What do you think?

Message: wow, A mistake like this, especially when you consider the time difference, screws everyone that finished after the declared winner.

Message: Sounds like something that should have been taken care of after the race??? I would think that if he knowingly cut the course he would sack it up like a big man and DQ himself??? If not, pretty sorry for one of the biggest advocates in cleaning up the SMW rankings;(

Message: Olen and Rick, I agree with you both. And I suspect that Olen knows who I am(you mentioned at River Cities that you hadn't seen me post in a while). I am using a BS name and adress to avoid BS spam email. I feel like you both see it my way....Olen and I occasionally agree and as a side issue, I will likely vote for him this year(strong sense of right and wrong).

Message: Honest and everyone concerned:
What you're stating is correct, and my personal ranking is not accurate.
I contacted Fred Phillips back in April asking for the BVT results to be corrected, (I even posted the letter in this site if you care to read it) he replied to me that he would work on it.
I agree that this and probably other inaccuracies are present, however overall the ranking process has been much better than in the past years.
Regards,
Sebastian Rodrigano
PS:
Honest (chris maybe?) It's pretty crappy that you don't give your name, and I don't appreciate the tone of your post, specially when I OPENLY agreed that the results were incorrect and PUBLICLY requested for them to be changed.
