I am so sorry... I didn't mean to turn this into a Galloway debate. There is a very obvious split in opinions and I don't want to debate them. I just wanted to mention that this race was a good one and not to pass it over based on its name. Let's end this debate here.
Also, to reply to "Some Guy" -- to clarify my previous post... I goofed when I said a name change for the school. I meant the race. Just typing to quickly! Thanks for pointing it out.

Any thing pushed or supported by the quak gallowwalk should be put to the garbage can.
The marathon caboom is what he has credit for and I would like to put my foot up his AZZZZZ for that.
The crap that he pushes is for loosers. just like all the other trash people try to pump to the running public.
Try this statement and live by it.
The people who don't want to reach their potential as runners are certainly under no obligation to try and are free to keep kidding themselves by loading up on ginkgo biloba, hyperoxygenated water, echinacea, encapsulated goat snot, and whatever other edible garbage they can accumulate by emptying their wallets.
